Is this laptop good for software development in Pakistan?

Yes, particularly well suited. The 8-core Core i5-13420H compiles code significantly faster than 4-core U-series alternatives common in budget laptops. Running VS Code, a local server, database tools and a browser with developer tabs simultaneously stays comfortable. The DDR5 RAM is faster than DDR4 alternatives and the 512GB NVMe SSD accelerates build operations. For Docker-heavy environments, upgrading to 16GB RAM is recommended before getting started.

What is Acer PurifiedVoice and does it work well?

Acer PurifiedVoice is an AI-powered noise reduction system built into the laptop's microphone. It processes your voice in real time and filters out background sounds including office chatter, traffic, fan noise and ambient sounds before sending your audio to meeting participants. For Pakistani professionals working from open offices or home environments where background noise is common, PurifiedVoice noticeably improves the audio quality the other party hears without needing a separate noise-cancelling microphone.

Is WeGot an authorised Acer seller in Pakistan?

Yes. WeGot is an authorised Acer seller in Pakistan. Every Acer laptop purchased at WeGot carries a genuine Pakistan-market warranty fully supported by Acer's official service network. Acer has authorised service centres in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. WeGot handles all warranty claims with Acer directly on your behalf so you do not need to navigate the process independently.

How does this compare to the Core i7 version of the same laptop?

The Core i7-13620H version of the Extensa 15 has 10 cores versus 8 in the Core i5-13420H, delivering approximately 38% higher multi-core performance. It also features better integrated graphics with 64 Execution Units versus 48 in the i5, and the i7 version specifies a PCIe 4.0 SSD versus PCIe 3.0 on the i5. For standard professional and student use, email, Office and browser-based tools the i5 performs identically in daily experience. For software development, data processing, video encoding and heavy multi-core workloads, the i7 upgrade is worth the additional cost. Both versions are available at WeGot.

Does WeGot deliver outside Karachi?
